<p>The ideal candidate must be passionate about SEO, SMO and be genuinely interested in keeping abreast of the latest changes in the space in order to learn and experiment with new strategies.</p>
<p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p>
<p>    * Develop and implement SEO/SMO strategies and tactics.<br />
    * Analyze the opportunity for growing our organic traffic on Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc<br />
    * Develop SEO recommendations to new/modified content pages, products and organic campaigns<br />
    * Work with cross-functional teams, project &#038; product managers to optimize site content in a search-friendly manner<br />

    * Effectively communicate work status to management<br />
    * Develop competitor reports, by analyzing competitor information, identifying trends, and recommending changes<br />
    * Link analysis and recommendations: checking internal sections, pages and blogs for link building potential.<br />
    * Search for and approach relevant websites in order to build link popularity. Written and verbal skills are crucial for this task.</p>
<p>SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS </p>
<p>    * 4 or more years SEO experience<br />
    * 2 or more years SMO experience<br />
    * Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS/CIS, Marketing a plus, but not necessarily required, or equivalent work experience<br />
    * Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.<br />
    * Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task.<br />
    * Strong knowledge of Excel required<br />

<p>Novus Biologicals is based in Littleton, CO and is a rapidly growing biotech company in need of an SEO Strategist to grow our web presence to the scientific research community worldwide.   The ideal candidate will define search optimization and marketing opportunities and solutions for the novusbio.com website.  They will research keywords and analyze competing web sites to assist in determining content requirements for Novus Biologicals, as well as analyze traffic logs, landing pages and develop plans to increase overall traffic to the site.</p>
<p>This will be both a strategic and a “hands-on” position, in that the candidate will not only need to develop a plan (in collaboration with our SEO consultants), but execute on that plan as well. This will include, but not necessarily limited to, on-site optimization, off-site optimization (link acquisition and content sharing), web analytics, conversion, pay-per-click, usability, social networking, blogs and statistical sampling surveys.    </p>
<p>The candidate will periodically be asked to analyze competitive web sites to assess the state of the market and better help define content and search marketing strategies for novusbio.com.</p>
<p>This person should be well versed in all aspects of &#8220;white hat&#8221; SEO techniques.  The candidate will also have a well developed technical knowledge and a desire to continually learn the latest technologies and online marketing trends.<br />
To succeed in this role requires a combination of technical and marketing knowledge, and persuasive qualities; enabling him/her to scope the landscape, define a vision and strategy, win acceptance of that strategy, and execute against the approved plan.</p>
<p>This position will report to the Vice President of Marketing, but will need to collaborate closely and collegially with editorial and development team members, as well as third-party vendors.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br />
Attaining and exceed (quality) unique visitors, work with the rest of the Novus Biologicals team, and develop and execute an overall SEO plan for the website.</p>
<p>Execute Novus’ ongoing site-wide SEO efforts, including tracking measurement metrics, analyzing results, and working with technology and product management resources to optimize natural search results and increase traffic to the website. This will include everything from working to optimize code and content resources on the novusbio.com website, to establishing contacts on how to disseminate and develop relationships with other websites to increase links and traffic to novusbio.com.</p>
<p>Focus on natural search rankings, but creating and monitoring PPC campaigns will be an important part of the position.  </p>
<p>Administer sampling and survey research on website to measure quality of traffic. Generate and disseminate management reporting to ensure that the wider team is aware of campaign performance trends.</p>
<p>Stay on top of all search marketing trends that relate to the Novus website to develop strategies that can be implemented to increase site traffic and conversion.</p>

Responsibilities include managing the community content, crafting site email newsletters and online e-outreach campaigns. <p>Fusionbox is looking for a full-time search engine marketer to help our clients achieve ranking, traffic, and website goals through white hat SEO techniques, keyword research, on-site optimizing, link-building, PPC campaigns, social media efforts, and usability.</p>
<p>Fusionbox has a team of front-end, and back-end developers, so there isn&#8217;t a need for programming skills, although an understanding of HTML and CSS would be helpful.</p>
<p>Duties:</p>
<div>
<ul>
<li>Create and implement SEM campaigns for Fusionbox clients</li>
<li>Link-building</li>
<li>PPC management</li>
<li>On-site SEO</li>
<li>Social media marketing</li>
<li>Writing press releases and blog posts</li>
<li>Analytics reporting</li>
</ul>

<p>Qualifications:</p>
<div>
<ul>
<li>2+ years experience in SEO/SEM</li>
<li>PPC management experience</li>
<li>Experience writing press releases and web copy</li>
<li>Social media savvy</li>
<li>Extensive knowledge of Google Analytics</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>High standard of customer service</li>
<li>Ability to conceptualize and implement SEM plans with little direction</li>
<li>Solid base of marketing knowledge</li>
</ul>
