Job Description
Parallel Path Corporation, a growing, successful online marketing agency in Boulder, is looking for an experienced, highly talented and enthusiastic sales leader to join our team. We are looking for strong sales professional who is technically savvy, who loves a challenge and possesses the passion, tenacity, drive, and confidence it takes to take us to new heights.
You will generate new accounts and service existing accounts of all sizes by helping companies succeed with their Internet marketing efforts.
This is a high profile, full time, sales position that you will be responsible for successful outcomes with current and potential clients.
You should have excellent understanding and experience with fundamental practices in the Internet marketing field, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Pay Per Click (PPC), Social Media, Web Site conversion optimization, affiliate management, rich media creation and media buys and distribution, etc.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Identify and develop local, regional and national prospects
• Contact, needs assessment, quoting, and closing of client opportunities
• Manage and respond to inbound inquires resulting in new clients
• Generate new leads and opportunities with targeted industries
• Client account management to actively manage and grow client accounts
• Maintain industry and product knowledge and adjust sales strategy to changing market conditions and competitive issues
• Develop and improve sales strategies for Parallel Path
• Identify and support sales and marketing activities such as networking events, trade shows, and seminars
• Develop sales strategy and roll out of future products including a targeted, proprietary, web-based product
• Some travel required (less than 25%)
• Salary plus commission (40 / 60 split)
Skills
• Minimum 3 – 5 years successful sales experience for Interactive Marketing
• The ability to manage multiple, diverse sales events simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of current practices for SEO, PPC, Internet ad networks, affiliates, and other internet marketing techniques
• Experience selling to executive-level individuals
• Working experience with a sales management system such as SalesForce.com
• Bachelor degree plus a minimum 3-5 years of outstanding work
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills selling to business accounts
