Online Marketing Director is the key partner to the SVP, Marketing and is responsible for helping the team drive customer acquisition and revenue growth through SEM (paid search), SEO, Affiliate Marketing, and Email. A position where that will call on strategic and tactical execution, this person will design and execute a broad range of campaigns to facilitate customer acquisition.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES, TASKS:
• Development and execution of strategies for customer acquisition & customer retention aligned with business strategy.
• Lifetime value analysis and retention, customer-centric initiative development and implementation.
• A/B Testing and product development.
• Reporting and analyzing acquisition metrics and profitability
• Executing the email contact strategy for re-marketing/reactivation of database prospects
• Link Building and affiliate/social media outreach
• Consult with key internal executives regarding development & alignment of multi-channel marketing programs across digital channels (e.g., site, banners, search, e-mail)

• Manage marketing/media vendor relationships
• Analyze and interpret marketing program results to drive future client marketing strategies
• Determine set-up, including testing methodologies, reporting requirements, and optimization modeling requirements, for ensuring full impact and efficiency of optimization efforts

REQUIRED:
• 7+ years marketing experience in web environment.
• Bachelors degree in Marketing or related area. MBA is also desired but not required.
• Hands-on experience managing campaigns across multiple online channels.
• Experience in online consumer media and demonstrated success in online traffic acquisition marketing.
• Solid understanding of user-site flow dynamics and optimization.
• Database Marketing & Customer segmentation.

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or equivalent experience. Masters in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or equivalent experience a plus.

Summary

NutriGenics Group provides marketing and management support to the health, nutrition and weight loss industry. Our fast-paced in-house marketing and strategic digital group seeks a dynamic, self-motivated individual with experience and proven track record in managing a web community including social media, content development, writing and editing for the web, blogs and forums.

The Web Community Manager (WCM) will be responsible for developing and managing all web-based content development and execution to create a superior user experience that will consistently lead the industry. The WCM will be responsible developing the voice for all aspects of online presence for several websites in the health and nutrition industry and the social media arena. Responsibilities include managing the community content, crafting site email newsletters and online e-outreach campaigns. In addition to writing, editing, and proofreading site community content, candidate will also work closely with the technical team to maintain site and brand standards with regard to new content or promotion development.

The content manager will work closely with technical, business development, and marketing members of our organization and must be able to successfully work with a degree of ambiguity as the role is shaped and developed. Tasks require strong communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities / Community Content Management

  • Create, develop, copyedit, proofread and manage all content for multiple websites (requires working with content management software)
  • Assist in developing content strategy, processes and editorial calendar
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of all web-based and mobile content types: information, articles, video, podcasts, training, blogs, and tools
  • Establish content creation, ingest, management, and distribution processes and protocols
  • Coordinate integrated web and interactive marketing projects across sites
  • Maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all web properties
  • Keep current with emerging web technologies through relevant blogs, listservs, and events
  • Assure web-based information is archived for future needs and reference
  • Track and report on all site metrics; utilize content usage and metrics to improve content reach and frequency

Primary Responsibilities / Social Media
The ideal candidate will also have experience managing social media and interactive marketing campaigns and knowledge of SEO strategies.

  • Strategic development, implementation and maintenance of new media and social media presence on the web for multiple brands
  • Develop social media marketing campaigns, including requirements definition, scope, deliverables, schedules, and budgets
  • Duties include online advocacy, creation and execution of new concepts, copy/editorial, community-building efforts, promotions, etc.
  • Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
  • Wide-ranging familiarity with major social sites and services from a conceptual, marketing, technical, and feature-set perspective
  • Deep personal engagement in social media and online communities of all types

Qualifications / Education Level Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Health or a related field
  • 5+ years experience managing content and production for high traffic websites with proven and verifiable track record in executing a multi-type content strategy across multiple websites
  • 5+ years in digital / interactive marketing / social media
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience leveraging social media in a corporate, marketing or brand-building capacity
